While India has six kinds of turmeric, Indonesia has only four: regular orange turmeric _(curcuma longa)_, white turmeric _(curcuma zedoaria)_, red turmeric _(curcuma macrochlamays)_ and black turmeric _(curcuma caesia)_. Here in Indonesia, we do not have India’s Alleppey turmeric and Lakadong turmeric. In Indonesia, red turmeric and black turmeric are expensive because they are rare. White turmeric is also rare here, and we have three kinds of white turmeric _(curcuma zedoaria, curcuma mangga and kaempferia rotunda)_, but I do not know why it is not expensive here. Lakadong turmeric from India is the most expensive turmeric in the world.

  2. Sorry, Dr Stanfield did not mention any statistics when he scared the hack out of people when stating that 5 people got serious liver disease. No study or research was stated reflecting this while for other facts he constantly refers to studies. So to me he tries to influence people away from curcumin.
