When it comes to natural hormone balance, adaptogenic herbs offer some amazing benefits that you definitely don’t want to ignore.

So, what are adaptogens? Well, they’re a set of berries, roots and mushroom that help the body respond to stress in a healthier way.

The main benefits of adaptogens is that they help regulate cortisol production. And they do this by acting on our stress response system (aka HPA, hypothalamic, pituitary and adrenal axis). As a result, adaptogens are also helpful for adrenal fatigue recovery and as a natural adrenal support.

Other benefits of adaptogens include the ability to:
– boost stamina and increase energy
– serve as a hair loss treatment in women
– improve fertility
– regulate the menstrual cycle
– balance mood
– support weight loss
– boost metabolism
– support liver detoxification
– regulate sleep
– improve thyroid function
– reduce cravings…
…and a whole lot more!

So, when it comes to hormone balancing herbs and natural remedies for female hormonal imbalance, there are plenty of reasons why you should be using adaptogens.

Now as with all natural hormone balance treatments, the key to succeeding with adaptogens is to know how and when to use them.

We’ll cover the basics of how stress affects our hormones in this video and then in part 2, we will look at specific adaptogens (maca, ashwagandha, schisandra and more) to learn about their benefits and best ways to use.

These herbs are quite flexible and can be used as hormone balance supplements or incorporated into your meals.
