  1. You have mentioned spearmint, couldn’t follow the same. You added some water after reaching trace was it water?

  2. Essential oils don’t make the soap smell that strong maybe you could use scented epsom salt to add smell and exfoliates

  3. Greetings dear Ma’am,

Am new to soap making, and just mixed several oils and butters to result in 2C. At the time, I didn’t realize that each oil has a different saponification something. So didn’t measure them. Am making soap with a neighbor tomorrow who is unfamiliar with the process as well. She will be present more for moral support.
Now, if you were in my situation, but with armed with the knowledge that you have, how much water and lye would you use. And it will be a guesstimate I do understand that. Luckily the soap will be just an experiment, and purely for personal use.

Would appreciate your guidance please. And the only data I have is that the final mixture of oils and butters amounts to 2C. Not putting any essential oils or fragrance.

    With sincerity and humility,
